Timber TailsK9 Rescue
A 501c3 rescue serving Grays Harbor County WA
Helping lost and abandoned dogs through Rescue, Rest, Rehab and being adopted to loving and forever homes.

Welcome to Timber Tails K9 Rescue website

Hello and welcome! We are so glad you have found us.

Timber Tails K9 Rescue is working hard to serve the lost and abandoned dogs of Grays Harbor County. Dogs our brought into our rescue primarily via local shelters. This is being done to ensure we follow the legal process, and to help prevent euthanasia that is occurring right here in our own back yards.

Back in January of 2025, a couple of us had decided that we could no longer stand by and watch and not be part of the solution. While working with other rescues, and spending multiple years as fosters for other incredible rescues, we learned a great deal of valuable information. But our hearts mourned for the ones being lost right here in our county.

As a result, we made the decision to step up and BE THE SOMEONE! Every day, we would see posts and requests for "someone" to do something. But nobody wanted to be the someone. Everyone wants it be someone else. The day had come and we said it has to be us. So we did.

The journey over this last year has been an incredible one. Full of growth, sadness, joy, tears of happiness and sorrow, friendships, and opportunities.

We are proud to be serving Grays Harbor and our surrounding rural counties.

In the pages of our website you will find information on how to adopt, foster, volunteer, as well as about our various programs. In addition, there is a page where you will find all the different ways you can donate.

Thank you for taking the time to come learn about us, our dogs and what we are doing to serve our community.

Please note, we are still working on building this website. We are entirely volunteer run, and most of us have full time jobs on top of the rescue. So it may not be perfect yet, but just like our dogs, give us time, we will shine.
